Mangalore: Reliance forays into smaller towns

Manjeshwara, May 29, 2008: The students of the Manjeshwara Govinda Pai Memorial Government College have got the job in Reliance BPO Company through the ‘Campus selection Program' held on Tuesday here in the college premises. This is the first of its kind which the college is passing through!

Escube - an IT service company from Thiruvananthapuram organized campus selection program for the Reliance BPO based in Chennai. Students of Manjeshwara College Meenakshi, Bhageerathi T, Imthiyaz, Shivaprasad Puttige, Yogesha B.M., Kalavathi M., Fathimath Fayida and a other college student Venkataramana B were selected.

Students will reach Chennai on june 6th to join Reliance. For these rural students the ‘campus selection' was a thrilling experience. They got selected through the various processes of English communication, aptitude test, group discussion and kannada communication tests. At the final round only twelve students remained and out of them eight were selected.

Chennai Reliance BPO Manager (HR) Mr. Kamesh D, Escube IT Service Company Manager (operation) Mr.Anoop R, Kannada Lecturer of the College Mr. Balakrishna Hosangadi organized the process.

Congratulating the students, Dr. C. Baburaj, in charge principal of the college, told that the college will open up to many such opportunities in the future course of time.
